    Chickamauga Art Festival Celebrates Folk Art, Tradition, and Innovation

    Chickamauga, GA – Saturday, August 16, 2025 The 2025 Chickamauga Art & Folk Festival will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Historic Downtown Chickamauga, Georgia. Presented by The 109 Gallery, this vibrant, one-day event will showcase artists, makers, and craftspeople from across the Southeast and beyond, highlighting folk art, traditional crafts, and contemporary interpretations. Ending the Evening with the opening reception of the group Exhibition “A Folk Perspective”.

    The Chickamauga Art Festival aims to honor the diverse cultural heritage of the region while welcoming new, innovative approaches to artistic expression. The festival will feature a dynamic range of art forms, from hands-on demonstrations and live music to curated art exhibitions inside The 109 Gallery. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public, inviting attendees of all ages to explore where community, tradition, and creativity intersect.

Plum Nelly Depot Art Show

My first show of the year will be one of my favorites! I truly love craft shows. They have been a big part of my life since I was just a young girl. The last several years, though, I have grown a bit disenchanted. It seems that a lot of crafts today, despite the time and effort put into them, just end up looking like something purchased from a store. This show is different! It is full of quality, juried local artists. The perfect place to start your Christmas shopping!
