Mug Workshop - Nov 29, 2023 - 6-8pm

In this 2 hour workshop, you will make a coffee mug out of clay using a slab and texture tools. No experience needed! You will be able to learn about the process of making functional pottery and have a keepsake mug of your very own that was created with your hands. These mugs make great gifts for loved ones! 

    It is important to know that you will not be able to take your mug home with you the day of class.  It will have to dry, be bisque fired, glazed with a color of your choice, then fired a final time.  This process will take 2-3 weeks.  Once your mug is ready, you can come pick it up or I can mail it to you for an additional $15 charge.

Coffee, water and cookies will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks with you!

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email with directions to the studio.

Disclaimer:

One of the magical and beautiful things about clay and what makes it so fun to work with is that is is unpredictable, and imperfect. You should not take this class if you are expecting a perfect result. Things sometimes happen during the process that are unavoidable.  If your mug does not make it through the firing process, you will have the choice of either coming back to the studio and making another one at an agreed upon time, or I will refund you half of the cost of the class. 

If you need to cancel at any time after registration, there will be a $20 cancellation fee.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
